WeDpro has worked to capacitate and empower communities through community-based projects, such as the projects listed on this page and summarized below:

1. Community Theatres projects use performance arts to:

• promote healing and provide psychological support, particularly for PTSD
• provide tools for empowered self-expression and confidence-building
• provide youth training and empowerment

2. WeDpro’s Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), which:

• provides support for the organizational development of grassroots organizations (e.g., United Philippine Amerasians)
• develops and supports new women leaders who will positively influence communities and institutions
• educates and organizes community-based lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth leaders

3. Filipino-Amerasian Fashion Rallies, a series of fashion shows in Angeles City that:

• showcased a new clothing and accessories brand modelled by Filipino-Amerasian youth
• increased public awareness about Filipino-Amerasians’ fight against discrimination and struggle to gain paternal recognition and support
