Adelinda S. Cordero


been an educator since 1982, teaching at the secondary school and as a department chairperson. Completing her undegraduate course in nutrition, she headed out to gain units in education. She has been a Special Education Teacher/Educator in 2005-2007, after her Master of Arts in Special Education at Arellano University, Manila. Linda, as she is called, also has experience in teaching vocational/technical skills to high school students. Numerous workshops, trainings and conferences on these subjects have honed her skills. In June to August 2011, she headed the documentation team for a WeDpro consultancy on external assessment of VAW Centers in Lanao del Sur, Bohol and Ifugao. Before this, Linda also led the Documentation Team of the WeDpro project, “Private and Public Faces of Violence Against Women: Addressing Domestic Violence and Trafficking In the Urban Poor Communities and Entertainment Centers of Angeles City and Olongapo City” in January – April 2011. She is a lifetime member of Autism Society of the Philippines, Philippine Home Economics Association and the Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School Faculty Club.
