Ma. Rosalyn G. Mesina


has been a volunteer for WeDpro since 2004, helping in resource mobilization and project development and project implementation. She has been responsible for WeDpro’s work with the Foundation for Media Alternatives (FMA). Len has ten years of extensive experience in social development, women and anti-discrimination work in the following areas: Program and Project Development, Management and Coordination; Networking, Campaigns and Advocacy; Information, Education and Training; Development Planning and Administration; and Research and Writing. She was the National Coordinator Take Back the Tech! to End Violence Against Women Project for FMA; and currently does part-time work with FMA on the same thematic projects. In 2000-2004, she was the Program Coordinator for Policy Advocacy and Information Campaigns Women’s Legal Bureau. Working and living alternately between the Philippines and Hong Kong, Len served as a Program Manager for The Women’s Foundation in Hong Kong, and as Trainer & Director (Member of the Board) of Enrich – Enriching and Empowering Women (A HK based Charity for Migrant Workers); she had a brief stint as a Consultant with the Presidential Management Staff, Office of the President. A graduate of the University of the Philippines, Len served her alma mater as a Senior Lecturer on Community Development at the UP College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWD), and as University Extension Specialist III of the UP Gender Office. Len is completing her doctoral degree in Public Administration at the National College of Public Administration and Governance, U.P. and completed her Masters in Community Development with Specialization in Social Development Planning and Administration.
