Mark Gilbore


started out his involvement with WeDpro when he participated in a program which gave capacity building activities to Amerasians and their caregivers some years ago. In 2009, Mark became active with the Theatre Arts Workshop of the “The Red AVP”, which gave birth to the community-based theatre group, Salamin, in Angeles City. His theatre talent was given recognition when WeDpro sponsored him to attend a Theatre Arts 1 Workshop conducted by the Philippine Theatre Arts Association (PETA) on 10 May 2011 – 24 June 2011. He is currently the president of the Santol Youth Organization in Angeles City, the adviser of the Pag-asa Youth Club and founding member of the United Philippine Amerasians, Angeles City Steering Committee. Mark continues to be active in organizing youth and in particular Amerasians in Angeles City. He is currently a youth volunteer for WeDpro in its Youth Empowerment Program. He worked as a cook for several establishments and continues with his on-and-off self-managed food vending business.
