or Pam is a communication strategist, qualitative researcher, and workshop facilitator, with more than a decade of experience collaborating with creative, servicing and technical teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns for Fortune Global 500 companies and local businesses. She has mostly established herself in Southeast Asia as part of the Ogilvy Group, one of the world’s largest marketing organizations. Her key assignments include Strategic Planner in OgilvyOne Thailand, Associate Planning Director and Chief Strategist in Ogilvy Philippines and a recent stint as Head of Consulting in OgilvyOne Malaysia. Pamela has also done pro-bono consulting in both professional and personal capacities and has drawn up communication strategies for UNICEF, Gawad Kalinga, The Visayan Forum and Roots of Health. Pamela is a member of the Anthropological Association of the Philippines and is now back in the country to finish the last stretch of her MA Anthropology thesis on design, consumer culture, and Filipino identity and nationalism at UP Diliman. She graduated in the same university with a degree in BA Communication Research cum laude, and was also awarded Best Undergraduate Thesis for her research on acculturation practices of expatriates in the Philippines.
